the requirements of the regulatory enactments in order to avoid any misunderstandings during the implementation of the project. Each site is inspected in the field, with additional measurements taken as necessary to ensure a high quality, accurate and justified solution.
As a certified construction professional, the manager of AL MELIOR must also comply with the Code of Professional Conduct, which requires him to act objectively, independently and with integrity, while respecting not only the wishes of the client, but also the potential impact on third parties’ properties – their hydro-meteorological condition must not be compromised.
AL MELIOR IK was founded in 2023. in 2007, but professional experience
company manager Andris Liepas has accumulated since 2012. The new European Year, working for several of Latvia’s leading hydraulic engineering companies in companies led by experienced and industry-recognised experts.
Andris Liepa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Latvian
University of Agriculture (now the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies), which is the only
university in Latvia that trains specialists in the field of land reclamation.
Even before entering university, it was clear to Andris Liepas that his path would be in land reclamation. Determination and
a genuine interest in the field have enabled him to acquire all the necessary knowledge with determination and step by step
to become a specialist who not only understands the technical side of the systems, but also assesses their impact on the environment and people’s
lives.
A simple but profound saying describes our operating philosophy:
“Water flows down”. While each specialist may have his or her own view of the same object, the basics remain the same – water always flows under gravity, and
cannot ignore this. That is why solutions must be technically sound and
tailored to the specificities of each site.
